Trainee Media Person
The Trainee Media Person will support the head of the marketing team (or GM) in capturing and creating high-quality multimedia content for PhuketFit Health and Fitness Retreat. This role provides hands-on experience in photography, videography, and social media management, and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in media and marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Capture and edit photos and videos to showcase the retreat’s programs, facilities, and services.
- Contribute to the management of the retreat’s social media channels, including creating and scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages.
- Support the development and implementation of social media and content strategies.
- Provide regular reports on social media and content performance, including recommendations for improvement.
- Learn how to post-produce photos and videos to ensure high-quality content that is on-brand and in line with the retreat’s visual identity.
- Work with other departments to ensure that all multimedia content captures the essence of the retreat and its offerings.
- Edit and post-produce photos and videos to ensure high-quality content that is on-brand and in line with the retreat’s visual identity.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in multimedia content creation and social media management.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to build skills and knowledge.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in photography, videography, marketing, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio of work demonstrating photography, videography, and/or social media management skills.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and social media management tools such as Hootsuite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for health and wellness and a strong understanding of the health and fitness retreat industry.
