Guest Service Agent Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle guest requests and inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest accounts and billing information
- Perform regular inventory stock updates and submit to accounting and the general manager
- Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating and resolving issues
- Handle and escalate any customer complaints to the appropriate department
- Ensure that all necessary on-boarding steps are followed as required
- Maintain a clean and organized reception/front office area
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
- Any other additional tasks or responsibilities deemed necessary by management pertaining to the needs of PhuketFit’s programs and its guests
Guest Service Agent Key Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and demeanour in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in the use of computers and basic software programs
Guest Service Agent Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a reception environment, preferably in a health and fitness establishment or hotel property
- Fluent in English is a must
- Experience in using reservation software is preferred
- Experience in handling customer complaints is preferred
